The Labs

Labs are due Friday at 11:59 pm .

Instructions

• The labs are the hands-on portion of the course. In labs you are taught how to use our Python IDE (Integrated Development Environment). As well, labs are used to work on tasks and discuss assignments. The IAs (Instructional Assistants) are on hand to help you with tasks and assignments using the IDE.
• Attendance at labs is not mandatory. You have to do the labs and submit by the due date. Your lab solutions must be uploaded to MyLearningSpace.
• Due dates for the labs are listed on the lab section on MyLearningSpace and noted at the top of this page.
• The lab tasks have online testing associated with them. If you can get your work to pass the tests, generally you have completed it correctly. We reserve the right to update the tests at any time.
• At the end of your lab submit your completed lab work to the appropriate dropbox in MyLearningSpace.
• Please bring your course notes to each lab session.
• Lab work builds upon previous work: if you fall behind, you stay behind, so keep on top of things. If you are taking far too much time to do your work, then you didn't understand something, you didn't remember something, or you don't know how to handle a tool. Get help immediately!
